Pair of houses forming part of a terrace. Early C19. Flemish bond brick with
moulded wood cornice. Old plain-tile roof; brick shared end stacks. Double-depth
plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Symmetrical front is
treated as a single house. Flush 6-panelled door to central passage has
flush-panelled reveals and blind fanlight, and moulded wood doorcase with fluted
pilasters, moulded roundels and open pediment. No.30 on left has 16-pane sashes
and 8-pane sash to lower second floor. No.28 has late C20 top-hung windows with
glazing bars. Rusticated rendered flat arches have keyblocks with moulded
cornices. Interiors not inspected.
