Green Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Probably C17 and C18 with later alterations. Regular coursed
sandstone; taller right part has timber framed gables with brick infill; left
range has late C19/C20 brick gable. Old plain-tile roofs; left range has old
brick irregular ridge stack; right part has brick internal stack on right.
Through-passage 3-unit plan. One storey and attic, with 2-storey right part;
2-window range. Through-passage between the ranges has a C20 part-glazed door.
Left range has a C19 two-light casement on left; C20 top-hung window on right;
C19 dormer above has 2-light casement with horizontal glazing bar. Right part
has C20 casements, of 2 lights to ground floor and 3 lights in brick surround
above. Interior not inspected.
