11/105 2 chest tombs approx. 15m S of
porch of Church of St. Peter
GV II
2 chest tombs. Dated 1741 and 1856(?). Sandstone. Each has moulded plinth and
top. Southern tomb has 3 fielded panels to north and south sides and one panel
to ends. Top has slate inscription panel to Roland Okeover 1741 and family.
Northern tomb has plain angle and central piers. Plain panels have simple
incised ornament. Top has inscription to the Reverend John Mitchell 1856 and
family.
