Public house. C17 and C18 with late C19 alterations.Timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill, almost wholly rebuilt in whitewashed brick to the front, bays have brick dentil cornice. Thatched roof has gable parapets; whitewashed brick end and two ridge stacks. Four-unit plan. One storey and attic; four-window range. Late C19/C20 double-leaf doors between third and fourth bays. Large six-light bay window to left has flat roof continued to form porch. First bay has five-light casement with painted wood lintel. Second bay has single light and 3-light casement with painted wood lintel. Fourth bay has three-light casement with brick segmental arch. Casements have glazing bars throughout. Eyebrow dormer have alternating two- and three-light casements; mostly cross-glazed. Rear has some exposed framing.

Interior has some chamfered beans.
