Cottage. C17 with some early/mid C9 rebuilding or refacing. Timber-framed with
infill and rebuilding of whitewashed brick, on sandstone plinth. Plain-tile
roof brick end and ridge stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Main front
is at right angles to the road. Right bay is of brick. C19 part-glazed central
door. Small fixed cross-glazed window above. 3-light casements have horizontal
glazing bar, except to first floor on left. Wing to rear towards road, has a
similar casement. 2 late C20 two-light dormers. Interior is noted as having
exposed framing.
