Former farmhouse. Early/midC18, with additions to rear, and C20 alterations.
Colourwashed C20 rendered brick, with brick string course and sandstone plinth
Old plain-tile hipped roof; C19 brick ridge and internal stacks to rear 2-unit
extended to double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic 3-window range. Symmetrical
front has late C20 door. C19/C20 three-light and central 2-light casements with
horizontal glazing bars, and top lights 2 dormers have similar 2-light
casements. Left return side has lower left part below roof slope; string course
does not extend its full length. 2-light casements, similar to front, on right
and to ground floor on left with smaller casement above. Additions to rear have
catslide roof. Interior has chamfered beams. Room to left has open fireplace,
possibly altered. Attic has old ledged door. Included for group value.
