House. Early to mid-C19. Rendered brick walls lined as ashlar; hipped slate roof
with oversailing eaves. Nominal Greek revival style. L-shaped plan: main house
aligned north-west/south-east facing north-east with a rear wing aligned
north-east/south-west. 2 storeys,m with plinth, panelled corner pilasters, first
floor band and eaves band. 2:1:2 bays: 12-pane glazing bar sashes; the central
bay is recessed between incised pilasters and contains a double-leaf glazed door
with moulded and lugged surround flanked by fluted Doric columns. Above is a
double-sash window also with moulded and lugged surround. The main house has
4-bay sides and a lower 2-storey, 4-bay rear wing. Interior not inspected but
likely to be of interest.
