House, now office. Early C18. Plastered walls with channelled rustication to the
ground storey; hipped plain tile roof; brick lateral stacks. 2 storeys and
side-lit attic, with bold eaves cornice on wooden brackets. 2 bays: tripartite
glazing bar sashes with moulded first floor string. Central door with moulded
and panelled doorcase. A segmental pedimented hood of circa 1700 has been
re-sited in front of the door. It stands on slender Tuscan columns and has a
richly carved frieze of foliage and flowers, and swags in the tympanum. Iron
railings enclose the front of the house to each side of the entrance.
Single-storey colourwashed brick wing breaking forward to the right, with
inserted C20 casement.
