SP1889-1989 (West side)
9/36 Nos.74 and 76
Inn, now offices and flats. Mid to late C18 with later alterations. Red brick;
plain tile roof; brick ridge stack to the left. 3 storeys, reduced proportions
to second floor; chamfered plinth, first floor band stepped over a carriage
entrance to left of centre, and a bracketed eaves course. 7 bays: 12-pane
glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads and raised keys, casements to second
floor. A single-bay link to the right has a second carriage entrance. Formerly
the Angel Hotel.
