GV II
House. C16/C17. Roughcast timber-framing; plain-tile roof; brick integral end
stack. Originally a 2-cell range aligned east-west. 2 storeys: the north front
has 2 C20 casements to the ground storey and one to first floor right. Small
gabled extension to the left. Present entrance is in the centre of the south
front. Interior: the eastern bay has been divided into a living room and 3 small
service rooms. Both bays have substantial cross beams with wide chamfers, that
in the western bay shows signs of being a later insertion. Exposed framing in
the external and internal walls: large square panels. Large open fireplace in
the north-west corner of the western bay.
