House, formerly farmhouse. 2nd half of C17 extended mid C19.
Built of Isle of Wight stone rubble (the right side elevation
stuccoed) with slate roof and end brick chimneystacks. 2
storeys and attic in projecting gable 3 windows. Originally
T-shaped with further C19 range to rear. Front elevation has
central projecting gabled porch with original 2-light mullions
and dripmoulding and obtusely pointed arched door with hood
moulding above and original studded plank door with pintle
hinges. Other first floor windows are 3-light C19 casements in
stone surrounds. Left side ground floor window has double
moulded C17 surround but later window. Plinth and dripmould.
Left side elevation has C17 stone mullioned surrounds and
obtusely pointed arched doorcase. Rear elevation has central 2
storey mid C19 extension with hipped slate roof and end lights
triangular-shaped at the tops.
Interior has a dining room with thick spine beam and open
fireplace, stone flagged floors atd C19 stick staircase.
