aisle of St Mary's Church
GV II

Headstone. c17(4)7. Superb Rococo carving with carved head
incorporating drapery revealing angel opening coffin to reveal
awakening cherub with flanking putto and angel blowing
trumpet. Cornucopiae at sides and shell-shaped inscription
panel edged with wheat ear drops. Inscription illegible at
time of survey.
