Stabling and cart lodge. Late C18 planned layout on 3 sides of
a courtyard. Mainly stone rubble with red brick dressings and
tiled roof. Central cambered carriage arch with keystone and
gable over with rectangular window. On each side are 2
cambered casements with metal windows and cambered headed
surrounds (one now blocked) . Cart shed to north has 6-cambered
arches for carts and is in English bond brickwork. Scientific
king post roof. Stabling has internal walls of brick in Sussex
bond.
