1352-0/1/136 of Farmhouse
GV II

Barn. Left end gable dated 1693 with initials ?D. Built of
Isle of Wight stone rubble with 2 tiers of triangular
ventilation slits. Corrugated iron roof. Deep stone plinth.
Left-hand side has blocked rectangular entrance and blocked
mullioned window, probably a byre or stabling for carthorse.
The east end gable has the datestone and tumbling in. Right
side has C18 window and door with red brick dressings. Central
cart entrance. 8 bays. Angled queen strut roof. 2 tiers of
chamfered through purlins. 2 internal brick walls in Sussex
bond.
