SZ58NE HIGH STREET (West side)
1352-0/1/146 Veniscombe

House. c1830, restored C20. Built of Isle of Wight coursed
stone rubble with ashlar dressings. Hipped slate roof.
Originally L-shaped but modern infill to form rectangle, 2
storeys 4 windows. Mainly 12-paned sashes in stone surrounds
with keystones and moulded wooden architraves. Round-headed
doorcase with keystone and 6-fielded panelled door. Left-hand
side has modern bay. Early C19 staircase with iron columns.
