SZ58NE KNIGHTON SHUTE
1352-0/1/150 Knight on Farm Cottage
GV II

Cottage. Dated 1694 with the intials IC above. Built of Isle
of Wight stone rubble with brick dressings. Half-hipped slate
roof with off-central brick chimneystack. 2 storeys, 2:3
windows. 1st floor windows are renewed casements with red
brick dressings. Ground floor has very long dripmoulding
including all three windows. Ground floor windows have
original moulded archtiraves. Two centred arched stone
doorway. Catslide roof to rear.
