II

Parish room. c1860 in Italianate style: Red brick on stone
base with stuccoed font and slate roof with wooden lantern.
Pedimented front with dentil cornice and oculus. 6 Tuscan
pilasters, 4 of which are in projecting portion. Front has
incised lines to imitate masonry. Central doorcase having
semi-circular fanlight with moulded hood, central vermiculated
keystone and console brackets, 4-fielded panelled double
doors. Side elevations have 3 round-headed windows with
keystones. Roof has 2 large louvred lanterns.
Interior has wooden pilasters to sides and rear panelled
wooden gallery supported on 2 chamfered wooden piers.
