Early C19. 3 storey. Ashlar Bathstone. Plain string at 2nd floor cill level.
Plain projecting frieze and moulded cornice with blocking course, shaped over
central window. Splayed quoins. 7 windows to upper floors. lst floor windows
have eared moulded architraves, and small moulded entablatures and blocking course.
Central lst floor window has surround of Doric pilasters, entablature and pediment.
4 centred arched yard entry in centre of ground floor with rusticated quoins,
voussoirs and triple keystone. Paginton has C20 shop front. No 11 has 6-panel
door with rectangular fanlight and plain surround of strip pilasters and small
cornice, and C19 shop front, inoffensive.
Nos 1 to 12 (consec) form a group, with the Town Hall, and Nos 131 to 144 (consec)
and Midland Bank.
