C18 and early Cl9. Former mill and mill house. Mill (C18) is chequer brick
with some hammer-dressed sarsens, and half-hipped old. tile roof. 2 storeys,
brick modillion eaves cornice. 3 segment-headed casements on 1st floor, 2 on
ground floor. 1 modern door in original segment-headed opening, 1 loft door,
top part glazed. Iron water wheel. Mill house (early C19) is red brick, has
pitched slate roof and brick stacks. 2 storeys. Black header courses at eaves
cornice level, and concentric with vousoirs. 2 segment-headed cased sashes with
glazing bars on 1st floor, 1 on ground floor. 1 modern door under original semi-circula
relieving arch.
