Cross in centre of Green. Medieval. Sarsen. Raised octagonal base
with 1 offset, surmounted by octagonal cross shaft, also octagonal
on twice offsetting and very worn base. Head of cross above 1.3m
renewed 1764 with moulded capital and stone Latin cross inclined in
manner of a gnomon, renewed c1965. Scheduled AM Wilts 575.
