House, C19. Whitewashed sarsen with brick dressings and some
rendering. Tiled roof. 2-storey, 3 bays, 1 room thick with
extensive rear outbuildings. Stable door to open through passage.
12-pane casement windows with timber lintels. Roof hipped right.
Sarsen pebble forecourt. The house is on the site of a bell foundry
operated from 1760 by Robert Wells. Included for Group Value
