House in row. C16-C17, refurbished late C18 - early C19.
Chalkstone and sarsen lower walls, and originally probably with
jettied timber framed facade, now part stucco. Tiled roof. 2-
storey 4 bays, originally 1 room thick with C20 rear wing on right
Entrance in second bay behind stack in third bay. Reeded 6-panel
door with moulded flat canopy and panelled soffite, all set back in
wall. 3-light leaded windows, early C20. Stacks central and on
right gable.
Interior: left living room with close set heavy joists bearing
carpenter's marks and chamfered spine beam.
