Two houses in row. C17 and mid C19. Stucco on sarsen footings, and tiled roof. Brick wing on right with side entrance opposite Bell Court (q.v.). Each house of two storey three bays, left carriage entrance to No. 23. six-pane sashes and four-pane on return to right. Six-panel doors within C20 gabled porches. Roof half hipped left, fully hipped to right. Two stacks, one opposite entrance to No. 24.

Listed for group value only, the block forms an important and picturesque enclosing element in The Green. Formerly The George P.H.
