Barn in outfield farmyard. C18, rebuilt of C17 timber framing,
clad in weatherboarding and corrugated iron roof. 7 bays with
narrow south aisle. Cart access through 3rd and 6th bays.
Interior with chamfered ties on jowelled posts carrying queen
struts and collars, and 2 tiers of butt purlins. Straight
windbraces to upper tier. Halved and bridled plates. Carpenters
marks suggest rebuilding, and initials BT and FS. Outfield barns
are becoming scarce in this area.
