wall to garden of Parliament
22.8.66 Piece


Gates, and gate piers and circuit of walls enclosing garden. Late
C17-C18. Cast-iron gates on 3.4m high brick piers with moulded
stone caps and draped urn finials. Gates have javelin heads, dog
rails and looped connecting bars. Walls continuous with piers,
interrupted only by barn, item 10/184 q.v. Wall varying height
following contour of ground. Stone copings.
