Chapel. 1813, for James Brudenell Bruce, Earl of Ailsbury in
memory of Sarah, Dowager Duchess of Somerset. Ashlar limestone
with concealed lead roof. Gothic. Three bays, in centre of
courtyard of hospital. Two 2-light windows to south with shallow
cinquefoil heads. Thin buttresses and crocketed wall canopy frieze
over dedicatory inscription. Three-light east and west windows.
Interior: Paired panelled wall pilasters supporting painted timber
vault with silvered ribs. Later C19 raised and tiled east end and
communion rail. White painted panelled stalls facing central
aisle. Octagonal pulpit.
