5/70 Barn at Harding Farm,
south-west of farmhouse
II
Barn. C18. Timber framed with corrugated iron roof replacing
original thatch c1960. Ten bays and aisle to south, and with lean-
to duck-house clasping front right corner.
Interior: Posts thicken towards top and curved braces to ties and
plates. Queen strut trusses with clasped purlins. Cart entrances
to bays 3 and 8. Bays 1 and 2 originally for chaff. Barn now has
late C20 grain store to rear, removing part of aisle and claddings.
