5/94 Flue to Crofton Pumping Station
GV II*
Flue to pumping station. After 1851. Brick, with iron banding,
flared towards base. Reduced in height by approximately 6 m.
Built by the Great Western Railway Co after their purchase of the
canal in 1851. One of an important group of industrial and
utilitarian monuments of special interest.
