Two shippons in row, gable to road. Mid C19 and second house, late
C19. First, of diaper brick and slate roof, 5 bays and hay loft.
Central stable door and 2 flanking slatted openings, all with 230
mm brick arches and blue half-brick flush hood and keystone.
Moulded kneelers to gables and pitching hatch over door. Upper
courses rebuilt. Attached to left, later C19 2-bay cow house, red
brick and slate roof. Stable door and ventilation window and
gabled pitching door to loft, all openings with bullnosed jambs.
Radial segmental brick heads.
Interior of both structures with later blockwork feeding trough,
run-out chamfered cross beams to earlier building. Rear feed drop
from loft. Group value with animal house to north-west, (q.v.).
