Lower Horsehall Hill Cottage

Cottage. C16 - C17. Timber framed with brick infill, thatched roof. Single-storey and attic, 3 bays, extended right by 1 bay and C20 lean-to. Lobby entry plan, entrance in thatched enclosed porch left of 3rd bay. Frame 3 panels high with corner braces, most
intermediate studs replaced. Queen strut and clasped purlin roof. Various 2-and 3-light paned and leaded windows. Thatch swept over 4 dormers, 3 to rear, and hipped right. Central stack and stack external to left gable. Rear outshut.
