Farmhouse, now hotel. C15-C17. Brick, flint and stone with
tiled roof. Two-storey 2-bay central section and 2 bay cross wings
with attics. Single storey lean-to infill between projecting rear
wings. Rear external stack to parlour wing with diagonal shafts.
Six-panel door lateral to central block with bracketed hood.
Twelve-pane sashes, some tripartite, and arch headed paired 9-pane
sashes to centre room. C17 gabled dormer over centre.
Interior: Central base cruck truss to former open hall, with heavy
windbraces. Major stack to hall and parlour wing on right, the
fireplaces blocked below chamfered timber lintels. Wings
independently framed and possibly additions to hall block. Spere
truss with arch brace.
