13/176 Littlecourt
Cottage. C16. Timber framed with brick noggings and thatched
roof. Single-storey and attic, 3 bays, gable to road. Entrance in
bay nearest road opposite stack. Frame 3 panels high on brick
sills. Door part glazed oak and oak windows with leaded glazing.
Fourth bay added to rear being 1937 up-grading of lean-to woodshed.
Thatch half-hipped and swept over 3 dormers.
Interior has heavy chamfered spine beams with stepped run-out
stops. Ties on jowled posts and queen strut and clasped purlin
