SU 15 SW (east side)

5/39 Long Cottage
Cottage, formerly 2 cottages. C18-C19. Pebbledashed on flint and
clunch over flint footings. Thatched roof. Single storey and
attic, 2 central bays, extended by one single storey bay at each
end. Boarded door. C19 timber casement windows and door to left
of existing entrance replaced by window in 1985. Thatch swept over
2 flush dormers to central bays. Stack at left end.
Interior has spine beam and timber fire lintel in stone stack.
