SU 15 SW (west side)

5/48 The Grange
House. Early C18. Banded brick and flint with limestone
quoins. Tiled roof. Two storeys and attics, double pile plan, 3
bays. Central 6-panelled door with leaded fanlight and bracketed
pedimented canopy. Three-light leaded windows, but 2-light over
door. Plat band. Two hipped dormers in hipped roof, and stacks to
rear The house is extended by single storey wings to the rear
