5/52 Barn at West Chisenbury Farm
II
Timber framed barn, early C18. Weatherboarded with a thatched
roof. Nave with aisles and south midstrey to centre bay. Five-
bays. Heavy posts with straight braces to tie, and queen struts to
collar truss, the principals reduced above the upper clasped
purlins. Plates face-halved and individually tenoned and pegged.
Long windbraces in second bay from both ends.
