SU 14 NW (south side)

9/63 Stables to The Manor House
GV II
Stables. C16 and C18. Possibly originally timber framed barn
against road, the north wall only now framed. Brick front.
Thatched roof. Framing of 5 bays, 3 panels high with corner
braces, the studs numbered from right, and brick noggings. South
side facing house rebuilt in C18, having 2 stable doors and 4
radial lunettes. Thatch raised over pitching door to loft.
Extension of 1 bay at west end, also timber framed, but with
weatherboarding under extension of main roof. Interior has feeding
drop in floor.
