House. C15, late C16, C17 and C18. Dispersed coursed flint with
brick and clunch, part rebuilt with brick laced flint, and further
altered with laced brick with limestone ashlar. Thatched roof.
Original C15 house probably 2 bays with central cross passage.
Third bay added on east end, projecting as small front gable and
original structure raised and re-windowed with 3-light ovolo
moulded windows. Original arched door to front, and door to new
wing with anse de panier arch both blocked. Present entrance a C18
door under thatched porch to cross passage at rear. Rear wing
added in C18 brickwork now containing kitchen. Some windows
replaced in 12 and 16-pane sashes in early C19, the front wing
window with rough hewn monolithic frame. Central stack has
diagonally set shafts. Interior not of special interest.
