Group of three Jarvis and associated
monuments in graveyard, 5m south
of south porch of Church of
St. Nicholas

GV II
Three chest tombs in a group under a large yew tree. To the west,
C18, limestone, hipped top, oval side panels with inscription
within wreaths of corn. End fluted pilasters and reeded fascia.
Swag and death's head on ends. All enclosed tightly in javelin
headed railings. To Thomas Jarvis, died 1797. To the east, on the
north: Limestone, moulded table. Panelled sides, enclosed in
fleur headed railings. To Thomas Twinning Springbatt, died 1753.
On the south: Late C18, limestone. Low table with ogee moulding
and panelled sides. Not identified.
