ST 9665 BROMHAM THE POUND

10/55 No 39 (Pound House)

GV II

House, early C19, red brick with ashlar dressings, slate roof with
stone slates at eaves, coped gables and end stacks. Two storeys,
3-window range. Ashlar flush quoins, raised band, beaded central
door surround to 6-panel door with hood on brackets and keystones
and sills to 12-pane sash windows. Brick dentilled eaves.
Cambered heads to openings. West side addition with stone slate
roof, half-hipped at west end. Parallel rear range has ironstone
rubble rear wall.
