associated monuments in churchyard,
approximately 6m south west of
porch, Church of St. Nicholas
Group of churchyard monuments comprising 6 chest tombs and 2 ledger
slabs in 3 rows. C18. Limestone. East row, from south;
a. Moulded table and base, recessed corner balusters. Table
with sunk carved arms in oval and inscription to Carolus Young
of Marlborough. Date not read. Adjacent to north, two
ledger slabs,
b. to John Wills, died 1785, and
c. James ? .
Centre row, two chest tombs, moulded table and base and recessed
corner balusters, to north,
d. Ann Dymore, died 1794; to south,
e. Ann Flower, died 1807.
West row, from north,
f. Wide low chest, limestone slab on brick base, to Nicholas
Dymore, died 1762, and wife.
g. Limestone slab on low ashlar base, to Thomas Dymore, and to
h. limestone slab on low brick base, to William Flower, died
