II
House at right angles to road. Late C18-early C19, altered mid
C19. Rear block of diaper brickwork, front block of red brick with
rendered facade. Tiled roofs. Two storeys and attics, 3 bays.
Central door with Tuscan portico, and flanking canted 4-paned
sashed bays with tiled hipped roofs. Four-pane sashes to first
floor. Raised quoins. A wing extends to right, of 2 bays, later
C19, with square bay on ground floor. Gable stacks. The rear,
earlier, block is narrower, of 4 bays within same length. Twelve-
paned sashes with boxes in reveals, and cambered heads. Sixteen-
paned sashes to ground floor. This block extended as forward
offset 2-bay block of similar date. Tiled hipped porch with a pair
of doors.
