BISHOPS CANNINGS CHANDLERS LANE
SU 06 SW (east side)

II

House, gable to lane. Late C16-early C17. Timber framed with
colourwashed brick noggings. Thatched roof. Single storey and
attics, raised to 2 storeys on north side. Three bays, extended
towards road by further 2 bays. Framing 3 panels high, extended
upwards on rear by further 2 panels above wall plate probably late
C17, and framed gables over bays 1 and 3. Entrance in single
storey wing on bay 2 opposite main stack. Canted timber oriel
windows with stone slate roofs and some diamond lead glazing.
Linked brick stacks at centre, and second stack to added bay,
which also has a gable entrance and porch.
Interior not seen.
