GV II

Three cottages in row, gable to street. C17. Timber framed with
brick noggings, and brick. Thatched roof. To left, Rose Cottage,
C20 and not of special interest. To centre, Byways, of 1 bay, 2
storeys and attic. Lateral boarded door and timber casement
windows. Ground floor of brick, upper floor framed, 3 panels high,
and one small dormer. To right, Church View, of l-bay lobby entry
plan, with second bay left with rear l-bay wing added in C19.
Boarded door and simple bracketed canopy. Paired timber windows
and canted oriel window to right. Much of the framing has been
replaced. Roof half-hipped to street. To rear, much renewed in
C20 and lean-to porch added. Listed primarily for group value.
