House. Early C17. Timber framed with brick noggings, thatched
roof. Two storeys, 2½ bays, lobby entry plan with added narrow bay
to left, now kitchen. Entrance opposite stack in central half bay
with stair at side. Framing 4 panels high, being tall rectangular
panels, no angle braces. Door off-centre, of timber, with boarded
canopy and blocked stair window over. Leaded timber windows, the
upper floor windows within raised gables to main bays at front.
Central paired brick flues linked at heads and stack to added bay.
Roof hipped over added bay.
Interior has chamfered fire lintels, curved down to jambs at ends.
Central spine beams, that to right bay with nicked ogee stops,
probably the parlour end.
