II

House, C16, refaced later C18. Timber framed with facade and
gables of Flemish brickwork on sarsen sills. C20 pantiled roof
replacing thatch, between raised gables. Two storeys, attic and
cellar. Three bays. Central C20 boarded door with wide stone
surround and a stone canopy on brackets. Paired 12-pane sashes to
flanking bays, also with bead-moulded stone surrounds. Large
external stack to right gable with multiple offsets incorporating
nest holes, and a similar external stack to left gable. Flues have
lozenge patterned brickwork.
Interior has timber framed partitions and timber chamfered fire
lintel to left parlour. Not seen in detail.
