II

Two cottages in row, now one dwelling. C17, refaced in C18, and
mid C19. Brick with thatched roof. Single storey and attic. Left
cottage of 3 bays, lobby entry plan with boarded door in C20
thatched brick porch. Paned timber windows. Blocked opening to
right of main living room window. Attached to right and slightly
set back, second cottage also single-storey and attic, 2 bays, with
central door, now window, and C19 paned casement windows with
segmental heads. Gable stack to right gable, and lean-to, also
thatched, to right. Central brick stack to left cottage and thatch
half hipped. C20 extension to rear. Remains of queen strut truss
incorporated into left end gable.
