House Late Cl7, timber framed in origin. Diaper brick with stone
dressings. Thatched roof. Two storeys and attic, with semi-
basement to rear of sarsen. Single storey and attic, cross wing
contemporary against side of through hall and containing kitchen
and living room. Early C19 scratch-moulded door in stone doorcase
with flat canopy on carved consoles. Cross windows, moulded string
and plinth, the details identical to those The Priory, Alton
Priors (q.v.). Probably earlier cross wing of 3 bays with large
stone fireplace with timber fire lintel in living room. Stair
c1700. Dormer windows.
