5/15 Carthouse to Alton Priors Farm
GV II
Carthouse on village green. C17. Timber framed with thatched
roof. Eight bays, 5 being open fronted and 3 enclosed later with
corrugated iron. Roof extended down at rear. Jowelled posts on
stone bases at the front, and curved brackets to plate and long
curved brackets to ties. Curved struts to principal rafters and
collars. Framing numbered.
