GV II

Cottage. Late C18-early C19. Flint ground floor, brick upper
floor and gables. Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, with
central stair hall. Two bays, door in lean-to extension on north
side. Timber casement windows. Brick gable towards Green extended
as chimney with projecting blue headers. Interior has chamfered
spine beam with ogee stops, perhaps re-used. Pair with No 53
(q.v.) and said to have been for estate workers at Wilcot Manor
House (q.v.).
