Pair of cottages in row. C18. Colourwashed stone and brick,
thatched roof. Two storeys, to left, Edith Cottage is of 2 bays
with lean-to at end. To right Apshill Cottage, 3 bays with
boarded door on left and C19 timber casement windows. Stone lower
storey and datestone 1717 C/HE in brick above plat band. C20
extensions to rear. Roof hipped with two brick stacks. Interior
has timber framed rear wall and cross partitions, and spine beams.
